LeoGIRGANGIRGAN After a valiant fight, Leo finally succumed and died in Kirkcudbright Hospital on 10th September 2008, aged 90. He was the devoted and most caring husband of Betty for almost 70 years, the best dad in the world to Morag and Derek, father-in-law of John and Anne, grandfather of Rory, Gregor, Jonty and Jamie and great grandfather of Kyran. His funeral will be on 19th September at 11.30am at the Parish Church, Kirkcudbright and all friends will be welcome to the Selkirk Arms Hotel afterwards. The cremation will then take place at Roucan Loch Crematorium at 3pm. No flowers please, but donations to the Royal National Life Boat Institution in memory of Leo would be a nice thought. Leo will be sorely missed by us all.
